 Encino
Retirement Home is a board and care for
the elderly located in Encino and in
Tarzana. We opened our first home in
2000.
The owners are Ayalla Levy and her
daughter Allie Akoka. Ayalla Levy has a
BA in Social Work and has been in the
board & care industry since 1996. Allie
Akoka has a BA in Psychology and after
many years of assisting her mother
part-time in the homes, has decided to
work at Encino Retirement Home on a
full-time basis in January 2007.
Together they run a family business by
taking every resident in to be a part of
their family.
All three homes were built from the
ground up to ensure that we meet the
needs of the residents with spacious
bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and
dining rooms.
At Encino Retirement Home, our main goal
is to promote independence while
assisting residents with their
activities of daily living as well as
their individual needs. We proudly
specialize in Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
